What is a Doppel?
A doppel is short for the German word doppelgänger - which translates to "double-goer" (from doppel meaning "double" and gänger meaning "walker" or "goer"). Today, it is most commonly used to simply describe another person who looks just like you!
Whereas a poppel is just a doppel for your pet! With veterinarian bills, aftercare (funeral/cremation), and memorialization, pet care can become costly quickly.
